Combining a career in film and policy, Ari B. Rubin is currently enrolled at Georgetown University Law Center to obtain his J.D. Ari has interned with the U.S. Attorney's Office, Central District of California, and with the Hon. Paul L. Friedman of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Ari is an editor on The Georgetown Law Journal and outreach director of the Georgetown Criminal Law Association. 

Ari has written screenplays for actor/director Robert Redford at Wildwood Productions, actor Tom Cruise at Paramount Pictures, and director John Hillcoat (
The Road) at 2929 Productions. His recent projects include Untitled Delta Force Prison Project for director Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) at Warner Brothers and the TV pilot, Shelter, for NBC Universal. He served two terms on the board of the Writers Guild of America West. 

In combination with his film work. Ari provides policy consulting for political organizations and campaigns. He has worked with clients including the DNC, Janice Hahn for Congress, Mike Feuer for Los Angeles City Attorney, and NGOs such as Aadhar India and strategy firm Eos Consulting.  

Ari received his B.A. from Wesleyan University in government, history, social theory, and economics. He is a certified instrument and multi-engine flight instructor. He is a licensed EMT and avid marathon/triathlon racer.
